If you are a history buff, not only are we able to share the history of the Moore family's Park House but in the  area you will find lovingly restored homes, buildings and impressive collections of memorabilia in our two museums. The downtown areas shop and restaurant buildings reveal intricate artisan skills with wood and plaster that are now just a memory.  Nearby the historic Felt mansion offers a peek into times gone by when palatial homes were the summer escapes from the city heat.  Our parlor library offers tales of local inhabitants and days gone written by local historians.
