Canoe/Kayak River Tour- (5/17/2008 thru 10/15/2008)
Check in early for a weekday stay and head out in a canoe or kayak to enjoy the beauty of the rivers habitat for 3 hours. You can expect to see swans, herons, kingfishers, eagles, turtles, deer and foxes. You will receive a certificate to “create your own picnic” at the local deli. You may take lunch along with you on the river or a relaxing picnic on Oval Beach or the Dunes State Park while enjoying the shoreline dune views. When you return to the Inn, a bottle of wine will be waiting for you. Later in the evening enjoy our wrap around porch, take a stroll along Saugatuck’s lively streets where you can shop, dine and dance. The next morning enjoy a delicious full breakfast in the dining room or on the porch.

PorchLight Romance-(5/27/2008-10/15/2008
Don’t wait til the weekend for romance, check in weekdays (at a lower rate) in one of our luxurious suites complete with hot tub or Jacuzzi tub, fireplace and private balcony or enclosed private porch. Fresh flowers and wine will be awaiting your arrival. During your stay one of Saugatuck’s certified Massage Therapists will give each of you a relaxing in room massage, enjoy the Star of Saugatuck cruise and receive a $65 dinner certificate towards a wonderful dinner at several fine restaurants in Saugatuck/Douglas. In the morning enjoy our breakfast in the dining room. What a wonderful way to pamper the one you love and yourself too!

Fish Stories…the one that got away!

The Saugatuck area has probably the best fishing nearly all year of any Lake Michigan port. Because of the rocky reef off Douglas Point and the eddy currents that these rocks produce, game fish can be found most of the year. Fishing outings can be scheduled with experienced fishing charter companies. Depending on the season, you can catch several types of salmon and trout. Your catch can be cleaned and packaged for your convenience. Photos of prize catch give you bragging rights for years to come. We provide an earlier breakfast so you get to the dock on time and a certificate for the local deli to put together a lunch to enjoy out on the lake. Charter arrangements are paid directly to the charter company we can provide contact information to schedule your fishing adventure.

Honeymoon For The First Time/Recreate the Magic
Begin your three night stay in one of our luxury Jacuzzi or hot tub suites with wine and flowers upon arrival. We send you off for dinner at one of Saugatuck-Douglas fine restaurants ($65 dinner certificate provided) cruise the river and out into Lake Michigan aboard the Star of Saugatuck, our treat, be totally pampered by two one hour massages in your suite, provided by a certified Massage Therapist and then explore the wilderness of the river habitat from a canoe or kayak for a three hour self guided tour.
