Park House News Although the Park House is over 150 years old, we will continue to add amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. All our guest rooms have private full baths and fireplaces. The spirit of the Lumberman's' past will always be present, if you are a history buff, ask about Mooreville and the lumber milling operation in the early days of the Park House.. Here at the Park House Inn, the aromas of home cooked breakfast linger in the dining room inviting you to sample our hospitality. Enjoy the short walk to town along the tree lined streets Downtown Saugatuck and Douglas both offer shops, galleries and parks along the way to explore. No fast food restaurants, gas stations or the usual chain stores. Every shop is unique and charming. Dine at one of the many restaurants in Saugatuck and Douglas, all with menu items to please any palate. Return to the Inn to relax, you can feel the stresses of the day fall away.......Here at the Park House Inn breakfast can be enjoyed sharing conversation with other guests in the guest parlor or dining room. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs (limit 2) are welcome, ONLY IN THE GARDEN COTTAGE , located on site at the Inn. (Advance arrangements are required, daily dog fee applies) Of course, the Inn breakfast and all amenities of the Inn are included for Garden Cottage guests, dogs remain in the Cottage.
